He is the inventor of a fizzy Gin Drinks, not only refreshing in the summer, but tastes great any Season of the year sparkling-fruity. The Ingredients? Actually, the only Gin, Basil, lemon juice and sugar syrup. The lush Green of the Basil gives the Cocktail a wonderful color; and the Gin, with its intense juniper aroma and traces of lemon or cucumber blends well with the grassy Freshness of the Basil and the acidity of the lemon.

The Gin Basil Smash was created from a Need. Jörg Meyer had opened a Bar (Le Lion) and needed a creative summer drinks. Somehow it did not work with the clientele even more. It looks very different today. As Jörg Meyer served the Cocktail the first Time and on Facebook published, spread the Gin-creation like wildfire in the social media. To The Right! Because the Cocktail is simply delicious. Now it is available in Germany, even Overseas, and many imitators. Even Basil lemonades are now available in the super market shelves. 60 ml or 6 cl good Gin20 ml or 2 cl Zitronensaft6 – 8 Basilikumblätter20 ml or 2 cl of cane sugar syrup
